The Indiana Rail Road's #9013 leading the INRD's EMEBR train into Bear Run mine in Dugger, IN. The days of the SD9043MACs are becoming numbered, as the current plan is to replace them with Ex-NS SD70Ms that are already on INRD and currently being worked on to get put into service.

Consecutively numbered Indiana & Ohio SD40-2's lead a loaded Melvin Stone Train over Sycamore Creek and Spooky Hollow Road in Remington on what was once the B&O's Ohio Division mainline, today's I&O Midland Subdivision.

Memorial Day 2021 in the Ohio Valley brought a special treat for local railfans, as the Ohio Rail Experience passenger equipment made a deadhead ferry move back to their home base near Cincinnati after two weekends of excursions on the former DT&I in Western Ohio and Southern Michigan. Leading the train back home was CRC/C&O GP7 No. 5704, the oldest continuously active GP7. Here, the 5704 is putting out some nice exhaust as it works a hill on the former B&O Ohio Division mainline, today the Indiana & Ohio Railway's Midland Sub, between Remington and Indian Hill, Ohio with 10 passenger cars and the other ORE locomotive for the trips, CRC/NKP GP30 No. 901, on the drawbar. The sound of that old EMD 567 series motor thundering down the mainline was absolutely beautiful!

CRC/C&O GP7 No. 5704 powers a deadhead move of Ohio Rail Experience passenger equipment returning home after two weekends of excursions in Northern Ohio and Michigan, seen here on the former B&O Ohio Division (today's Indiana & Ohio Railway Midland Subdivision) mainline on the trestle over Sycamore Creek and Spooky Hollow Road in Remington. It was such a treat seeing this classic vintage locomotive, built in June of 1950 and known to be the oldest continuously operating GP7, strutting her stuff on a mainline.
