A westbound Norfolk Southern train rounds the World Famous Horseshoe Curve at sunset. On National Train Day 2023, the Altoona Railroaders Memorial Museum hosted extended hours at the Horseshoe Curve observation platform, allowing visitors to see a parade of trains at twilight.

An ex Southern SD40-2 unit has had it's original high nose chopped for a short hood cab, called an Admiral Cab, due to the distinct front windows tilting downwards. The unit is in the Paint Booth at the Juniata Shops. Photo taken during a Family and Friends Day event. Won't have this happen again with current management!

A getting of all 5 models/paint schemes of the NS Fleet were done at the brand new turntable in Altoona in February of 2019. Although it was a winter event, there were still a bunch of people out taking photos of the event.
