The Wall of Garbage - After the suspension of cab signals on the RF&P Subdivision, any engine with PTC can lead CSX trains. As seen here, SD70AC #4582 leads southbound manifest M301 towards the Rippon VRE Station with 48 cars of trash from the Northeast in tow. Since this engine does not have cab signal technology, it and many other old locomotives could not lead trains through this area before the official cab signal suspension on June 15th, 2024.
