Splitting the Searchlights - An empty Texas Utilities coal train splits one of, if not the last set of intermediate searchlights to survive on the St. Joe Sub until they were replaced in 2022.
I grew up in Central Nebraska and have been a railfan since I was about three years old. I got into photography in 2013 and haven't slowed down since. I also worked at Nebraska Central Railroad as a conductor/engineer between 2016--2022. Recently I had a book published: Nebraska Central Railroad Pride of the Prairies, and I have been published in several railroad publications. I currently live in Columbus, NE with my wife Shannon, our beagle Clyde, and we're also expecting our first child.
