Through Tower A - At the entrance to St. Louis Union Station sits Tower A, an abandoned interlocking tower that used to govern all 44 tracks and 300+ daily trains. Now derelict, the roof has fallen in and the floors are destroyed. You can look down from above the structure and see straight down to the ground floor. In the background, two of the Terminal Railroad Association's GP38-3's are loading passengers for the 4:30 PM Polar Express train, running from STLUS to north St. Louis along the riverfront.
