HOBBS AT DUSK - Here is Q216 reaching the summit of the upper Shenandoah Valley at Hobbs on the CSX Cumberland Sub on March 28, 2012. The cab of 8575 seemed to have a full house inside as there looked to be three people sitting and if you notice a West Virginia State Trooper is passing going east on Route 9 and the exhaust from the locomotives spelling the air.

Growing up along the B&O Old Main Line in Mt. Airy, MD. My Dad and I would watch the cold storage get switched out on Saturday mornings but it wasn't until after I moved to Martinsburg, WV and took my Son to the station to watch trains that I began filming and photographing CSX and Winchester & Western in 2008. Soon after that I caught the nocturnal bug and began pushing my equipment to its limits doing night photography via either long exposure, off camera flash or both. In 2018 I purchased a drone and have taken photography to new heights!
