I took a trip to the Indiana Rail Road on a mission to capture the Tulip trestle, after hours of waiting i got it there then chased it into Linton for my last photo, photo taken in Linton, Indiana photo taken on July 17th, 2024

After the previous chase of the Indiana Rail Road's Marathon local being quite bad. I set out a mission to achieve a more successful railroad chase. So I set up at Palestine Airport Road where there was still good sunlight and set my settings how i wanted them. INRD PAUT-3 Palestine, IL - Train PAUT-3 begins its duty in the almost golden light of the evening to switch and build their train to serve Marathon Refinery in Robinson, Illinois and Rain CII in Robinson, Illinois. Photos taken in Palestine, Illinois photos taken on July 10th, 2023.

train M646 runs South after being stopped by X512 in Smith Siding which is just north of these photos. in the lead is an uncommon nowadays C40-8W all these engines were in storage just until recently due to how power short railroads are anymore. A Phosphate train heads back North to Canada after venturing all the way South on the CSX system. This spot is called North Alice on the CSX CE&D Subdivision, as just after the photo is shot there is a small yard used for L364 and its name is Alice Yard. Photos taken on April 15th, 2022. After getting word of a BCRail Heritage locomotive on its way. My brother and I ventured to Shelburn, Indiana to catch this heritage locomotive. I remember barely catching this unit as it was in Vincennes at the time when leaving Palestine, so thoughts of catching it were slim, but it managed to be done.
