PREX 16 (ex. Ludington & Northern) getting ready to switch out the Kraft plant on the former GR&I. GP9 #907 was being used for power for 5 years while 16 sat sidelined. However, a quick visit to the KTR saw 16 back in action while 907 was offline.

An Ex-MILW GP9 in Michigan Southern lettering sits quietly under the cloudy night skies near the Kraft plant in Kendallville. This replaced an EMD SW8, which sits dead at the south end of the spur. The KTR is a one mile terminal which operated over the former GR&I, and primarily serves the Kraft-Heinz plant.
