FEC 822, a Liquid Natural gas car, and FEC 811 bring their power into the diesel facility at Jacksonville yard. The ES44AC units sport the new "FloraMex" paint scheme. Similar to the Ferromex units in Mexico.

The Florida East Coast converted SD40-2 719 into a new Autonomous Track Inspection Vehicle FEC 2414. The unit is placed behind the head end power consist to inspect the rails on the journey south to Miami and return. The unit also sports the new Grupo Mexico paint scheme. The locals call it a "FloraMex" unit.

While eating lunch by the trains, some FEC MOW equipment came up and set up to do some work.

On a cloudy Tuesday I’d find myself in Cocoa scouting for whatever I could find. After a few trains I found FEC 335 slowing pulling out of the Cemex plant with a classic LNG set. - Taken 3/5/24

For the first time, FEC 430 "leads" a train. Well, kind of. FEC 202 was shoving an impressive seven locomotive lashup into the fueling racks at Bowden Yard with newly painted 430 bringing up what was the rear of the consist.

On the evening of May 2nd 2023, I went trackside to try and get FEC 206. Getting there only to realize that he was hours behind schedule, my only chance was to wait it out. Around 19:15 came FEC 206 around the curve at BYRD Plaza in Cocoa, FL in perfect golden hour lighting. Taken 5/2/23.

On the afternoon of January 22nd, 2024, I had received news that FEC 105-22 would have the 2 repainted ES44C4s on point. After getting done with work around the house, I made the trip out to cocoa to see them. After arriving, I was greeted to a green signal thinking getting 105 would be quick. Nope. About a million brightline trainsets later and 105 got signals through cocoa. Around 450, 2 hours after I got there, FEC 10522 rounded the curve at a slow rate of speed. These units in my opinion are very nice looking. FEC 816s horn also sounded very nice. Taken 1/22/24.
