Number 16 chuffs into the depot Rockhill Furnace, PA during a recent Lerro charter.

Although the sun was fairly reclusive during a recent visit to the East Broad Top Railroad I did manage to get one shot where it decided to show up. In fall splendor, the #16 chuffs a combo freight and passenger train past the Aughwick creek as it heads back towards Rockhill, PA. The EBT is a true time capsule and this was a rare opportunity to capture a wide, scenic view of this narrow gauge steam operation just as it looked since it was built here in the 1870s.

A heavy fog has taken residence in the valley this morning while EBT #16 has coupled onto the day's train.
