UP 9609 East has WC 6587, CN 9473 and NS 3226 for a consist leading the West Colton-Houston manifest in December 2005.

NS 880 chugs eastbound with three different eras of BNSF paint for power in sequential order. First is an H1 Dash 9 which was thrown on in Illinois on BNSF rails when the 2nd leader, an H2 AC4400CW had mechanical problems. Lastly is an H3 GEVO, rounding out a rather unique power set.

BNSF 5252 West with KCS 4132 and BNSF 8598 highball up the grade out of Helena with a loaded coal train on a beautiful summer afternoon. Four MRL SD70Ace units are mid-train with a loan BNSF GE on the rear.

NS 9446 west has a fresh crew on board and is preparing to depart Picketville, Florida as a pond gives a perfect reflection of the train.

Making its way south from Flynn Yard in OKC, the OKC-Gainesville local rolls past the former ATSF depot in Pauls Valley, OK with a pair of former ATSF "Super Fleet" GE C44-9Ws on the point. For the majority of the year, these locals have been featuring Warbonnet duos, trios, and recently, even a quad set. Who knows how long this will last, as more and more of these former Santa Fe Dash 9s are being rebuilt, stored, or scrapped.
