METX 500 leads outbound Metra train 2615 at CP Morgan headed up toward Fox Lake. This trainset was decorated with Christmas lights as part of Metra's Holiday Train program. A PRR signal bridge still remains despite having modern color lights.

A recently delivered Metra MACH sits outside of the EMD facility in McCook, IL. This Metra MACH should be put into service sometime in 2024 / 2025. This will definitely be a new future and generation for Metra. Built as KCS (Kansas City Southern) SD70MAC #3965, this locomotive went under a huge overhaul at Patterson, Georgia progress rail shops.
