EBT M-1 passes 16 on its way to the depot for the days excursions.

On a calm night on the Gulf, Mobile, & Ohio, GM&O 4382 slowly departs the station, while GM&O 1051 sits on the side with 2 shop workers, and a man by the name of George Googe Jr. According to historian Travis Gordon, soon after posing with the brand new RS1, George would give the shop workers a stern talking to, as this is the man who lead the charge from steam to diesel on the GM&O and was upset that his brand new machine had to be saved by a worn out mikado. In reality, this is Southern 4501 and Hartford & Slocomb 913, both dressed as GM&O locomotives to honor the 75th anniversary of the GM&O's dieselization. The man on the far right is the grandson of George Googe Jr, Charles Googe. He put in lots of effort in making this event possible, and so did all the TVRM employees involved.

With its day complete, GM&O 4832 sits idle at the East Chattanooga depot waiting its turn to use the turntable before being shut down for the night.

Making its last trip of the day, GM&O 4832 departs Grand Junction with the final "Evening Ridge Runner" for the 2024 season at TVRM.

With only a couple trips left for the day, GM&O 4832 exits the west end of the Missionary Ridge Tunnel with the 5PM "Evening Ridge Runner". This was supposed to be a double header with SOU 630, but 630 had to be withdrawn from service due to maintenance.

On Nov 12th, 2023, myself at Brodie Photography and the staff of Steel Highway Magazine hosted a day long photo charter with Soo Line 1003. Our charter concluded with a full speed runby of 1003 going thru Rubicon and the sun was setting at peak providing great video and images.

Dollywood 192 coast down the steep grade towards the station

On a hot, and I mean HOT May afternoon, Dollywood 70 would be the star for the day hauling the Dollywood Express. I still remember almost passing out at one point due to the heat.

On June 6th, 1964, 4501 arrived to TVRM after working at the Kentucky & Tennessee Railway out of Sterns KY, and being purchased by Paul Merriman. On the same day of 2020, I ventured out with some friends to see her, not realizing what day it was.

The first public revenue run of the East Broad Top #16 powers out of the depot at Orbisonia with a recreated freight train.

As expected, the return of steam to the Narrow Gauge of the East brough out railfans in the hundreds--trains for the Winter Spectacular either sold out or were near capacity, and I'd wager around 200 people converged on the Long Fill and Runk Road overpass. But only four elected to shoot the morning frieght run through the open barn doors.
