From my other post of NS 911 going thru Sunbury. Here’s a pan shot of 911 with 974 passing an old D&H Depot on the D&H Sunbury Line which is now a winery. I shot this winery since 2016. I usually try for new angles.

A freezing January afternoon following a decent snowfall saw me make the trip to the Brent Point Road crossing to catch what I’d been after for months - a well-lit shot of 911 in charge of a train. Safe to say I succeeded.

Norfolk Southern's Safety Train travels over the "Big Viaduct" crossing the Little Conemaugh River in South Fork, PA. The train is part of Norfolk Southern’s Operation Awareness & Response (OAR) program. OAR was launched in 2015 to provide hands-on training to first responders along the Norfolk Southern system via a train that serves as a mobile classroom. The train consisted of SD60E 911 and GP38-2 5642 pulling two boxcars converted into classrooms, four styles of tank cars, including DOT-105, DOT-111, DOT-112, and DOT-117, and two 89-foot flatcars designed to transport intermodal containers.

With both 911 and 5642 for power. Fall colors on full display at this location.

the NS safety train was parked near me and one of my shots was blocked. So I had to "play" peekaboo to see it.

On a warm muggy afternoon, CSX M364 comes through the West Shore Junction with the CSX First Responders engine #911, leading the way.

CSX I192-04 with KCS 3911 leads past West Garrett headed for the Northwest Ohio Intermodal Terminal in North Baltimore. It's uncommon enough to see KCS leaders on this train, but even more rare to see a KCS SD70MAC leading.
