A solid set of Rio Grande units; RG 3105, RG 3049 and RG 3121 lead the SP CHSXF-01 westbound at Cienega Creek. The Sealand Double stack train is minutes away from Tucson and a new crew in June 1991.

SP 9360 West leads the HOTUM-06 cresting the summit at Mescal, AZ in March 1991. The consist includes SP 9360, 8038, 7533 and 6786.

SSP 3905 a modified GP39-2 sits at the small yard in Marshall, WA. The unit sports the Omaha Track logo on the long hood of the unit. The 3905 is a former Kennecott Copper unit.

UP 8028 east with UP 8080 and Coos Bay Railroad 1869 lead the MHKSK-20 manifest train through Scribner curve as seen from Kelly's Hill. The 1869 is going to Western Rail Service in Airways Height, Wa just west of Spokane.

UP 6522 and UP 6404 lead the MSKHK-18 Spokane to Hinkle manifest around the curve at Scribner, WA in April 2024.

UP GP35 795 (Ex-WP 3017) sits in the siding at Bowie, Arizona waiting to go to the Arizona Eastern. The Bowie coaling tower was one of three on the SP Lordsburg district between Tucson and Lordsburg in the late 1980's.

SSW (Cotton Belt) 8087 east with Rio Grande 3093 and SP 8375 wait in the siding at Bowie for SSW (Cotton Belt) 9645 west leading the Blue Streak toward Tucson.

UP 1943 East Spirit of the UP unit climbs the summit of King Hill with the MHKPC-25 manifest. The specially painted unit in support of our troops is appropriate for Memorial Day 2024.

UP 5290 east is stopped at King Hill, Idaho waiting for a slower eastbound to clear the summit. The MHKNP sits under a beautiful "Kodachrome" sky on a beautiful May 2024 afternoon.

CP 8101 East with KCS 4748 is climbing the summit at King Hill, Idaho with a grain train that includes a 4 unit swing helper with two UP and two KCS units and a rear helper with CP and UP. The train will interchange with the Eastern Idaho RR at Minidoka.

BNSF 2620 with two other GP units leads a local east out of Spokane, WA at the siding called Irvin.

A quad-pack of UP motors races west on NS 142 through Peabody on the former Nickel Plat Road mainline to Chicago.
