I had an opportunity to visit the NRE Plant in 2019 before its closing. Here is an example of the great variety and color of power the plant had in its storage lines. Over a 100 Locomotives from FURX, SF, UP, BN, LMX, SP, IHB and Minnesota Commercial, and many more in many different storage lines.

I had opportunity to visit the NRE plant in 2019. Here is Iowa Chicago & Eastern 6100 with RLCX 8513 (LMX) and also includes Metra E-9 651 along with two switchers at the NRE Plant in Silvis.

NREX 3006 (Ex-BN 4021) and NREX 3009 (Ex-BN 4028) are shown in their current Providence & Worcester paint scheme at the NRE Silvis Plant.
