NS Reading 1067 heading LHF Back into Northumberland about a quarter mile from the yard.

NS Reading 1067 leaves the new grain plant in New Columbia, PA Behind bound for Northumberland Long shoot Forward. This plant will be planned to run a grain train daily in the future where NS will bring loaded cars in to the plant and North Shore will help load/unload the cars and then NS will take the empties back to the starting origin point depending the plans. Not sure fully what will happen.

NS 974 with the NS First Responders Safety Train makes it way thru Sunbury, PA. This shot here shows the 911 passing one of the buildings in town (consist not seen) around 2:30am.

After getting held up north for a bit, CSX B241-20 made its way into south Georgia with CN 3115, the BC Rail heritage unit, leading the loaded potash train south. This one sure drew out the crowd today, and for good reason. CN 3115 is painted in the same form that BC Rail used to paint their MLW M420 units after going to the red, white and blue paint scheme. This is also the first of the CN heritage units that has made it this far south. These loaded potash trains typically come from CN but will occasionally come off the CP as well. In this case, the train arrived in Chicago as CN B746

Santa Fe 5394 East makes a crew change at San Bernardino on its maiden trip showing off the new merger paint scheme in September 1985. SF caboose 999470 on a westbound has stopped to pick up the conductor and brakeman.

SF 141 East leads CSX 6007, SP 8332 and SP 7316 near Pantano east of Tucson. It was quite unusual to find one of Santa Fe's finest Red & Silver units leading an SP train on the Sunset route in 1995.

Santa Fe F45 5966 East leads a manifest train up Cajon Pass just east of Sullivans Curve in November 1986. Two GP30 mergers 2745 and 2755 are also in consist.

Santa Fe 8154 east meets SD9's SP 4440 and SP 4384 with an MOW train at Bealville siding in Tehachapi Pass.
