CP 7022 leads NS train #245 through the small town of York, AL as the crew finishes its trek towards Meridian, MS.

BNSF #1003 is on the point of 10,044 foot long NS train M33 as it glides through the spring switch at York, AL. Luckily for me, the trains trailing unit was made a DPU today allowing 1003 to be the star of the show.

A trio of KCS SD40's leads train LGP101 south through Saucier, MS as they head home to Gulfport after a hard days work.

CN 3115 leads KCS empty oil can O-ARJA into Meridian, MS as it prepares to head west towards Jackson, MS where it will be handed over to the CN for the trip back to Canada.

A fairly clean UP SD70M is on the point of KCS train Z-AILA. The train has just been handed over to the KCS from Norfolk Southern. Once the crew finishes their pre-trip duties and get PTC up and going, they will blast off into the night for the run to Shreveport, LA where it will be handed off to the UP for the rest of the trip to Los Angeles.

There is nothing more attractive than a streamlined passenger train next to a beautiful train station. KCS brought out their OCS equipment to bring its Christmas Train for its tour of the south. With the Christmas cars positioned on the terminal track at Union Station, KCS parked the OCS equipment on one of their yard tracks for all to see.

A pair of KCS de Mexico GE AC4400's idle away on the point of an Atlanta bound stack train as a southbound NS freight passes on the NO&NE main one track over. The KCS crew brought the train from Shreveport and tied the train down. It will be well after dark before an NS AGS South crew boards to take the train eastward.
