A Tale of Two 38's - CSS 2000 and 805 lead the Kingsbury South Job southbound just outside LaPorte on a brisk Monday, at the pond off of County Road 150 East. This is not a common power set for this turn. The SD38-2's usually don't make their way over here, so this was a nice treat. Especially after dark, when the train headed back north and blasted its old-cast P5 horn.

I have had a mild interest in trains my whole life, mainly liking railroad crossings. I haven't become a true tailfan until 2021, but I haven't looked back since. And since 2022 I've gotten into still photography.
