A recently repainted YN3C ES40DC trails on M222 through Folkston, Georgia on 7/15/22.

A GP60 and an ex Conrail GP38-2 bring a local into NS's Simpson yard on 12/21/22. A combination of Geeps have been in charge of the locals around Jacksonville, 7120 sticking around longer than others.

One of the more unique Dash-8s left on CSX's roster, 7868's cab numbers are in an interesting font, note the small 8 on the conductor side number board. With some of the Dash-8s going back in storage in late 2023, this was a nice sight.

NS 26C sits tied down just north of Simpson yard on 2/4/23. The other headlight belongs to a UP C44ACM that likely went north on a different outbound train later that night. Note the two pieces of rolling stock that have left the rails.

Two inbound manifests, M221 and M515, await clearance into Rice Yard at Waycross, Georgia on 4/1/23. Notice that 3430's bottom headlight is out, and the difference in PTC arrays between 3287 and 3430.

In addition to the two former NS GP38-2s the FCRD owns, they also have two leased GC GP38-2s on the property. On 8/8/2022 both of them were seen working the port at Fernandina. To ordinary people, they likely wouldn't notice the difference between the FCRD and GC units due to the G&W paint adorned by both roads.

One of the older AC44s with Hi-Ad trucks still in YN2 paint was tasked with loaded Herzog ballast train W089 on 1/3/23 by Folkston, Georgia.

The daily FCRD local traverses through the final mile or so to the Yulee yard on 8/28/22. The two GP38-2s were former NS, and are the main power used on the local now.

A nice treat on 10/15/22 was an SD40-3 (online and helping too) trailing on M202 through Folkston, Georgia. While more common in some areas, seeing one active on a road freight is something for sure.

Only about two months into it's new service life, CSXT 7274 serves as C004's mid DPU at Waycross, Georgia on 11/12/22. 7274 is the oldest production AC44, formerly CSXT 1/173:2.

CSX's Spirit of our First Responders unit blasts through Folkston with I037, NF K5LA singing and all.

After a wreck in Miami a few weeks prior, GP39-2 4316 was put on a flat car, and headed north. Somehow, it ended up on the head end of L729 on 12/4/22. The unit has been sitting in Waycross ever since.

The tail end of I143 clears Brunel Street as L729 sits crewless on the JO3 track at Waycross, Georgia. L729 had been there for over eight hours by the time I took this photo, and would stay for a few more before a crew was finally called.

CSXT 5460 for some odd reason was at some point in it's life given a small YN3B logo on the nose, and not centered properly. 5460 was trailing on M410 in Waycross, Georgia on 11/12/22.

A now gone CSX ST70 assists I032 through Dyal Hill, Florida on 7/19/22 under gloomy skies.

A C6M and T4 ACe power NS 229 by Crawford, Florida on 7/3/22. With the CSX ST70s now gone, the UP T4 ACes are all Floridians can see of the loco type if they come down on CSX or NS.
